On behalf of the Staff, Board of Trustees and Glenview children I would like to welcome you to the Glenview School Community. Our parent community is primarily made up of families who reside in the suburbs in the south west of Hamilton

Glenview School was established in 1964. Since then the school has continued to grow. With growth we have been able to develop and upgrade facilities to cater for learners of the 21st Century.

Having been at Glenview School for 20 years, first as a teacher and for the last five years as Principal, I feel so privileged to lead a dedicated group of teachers and learning focused students.

This year we launched our new charter. Our vision 'Being our Best' supported by our values; Honesty, Effort, Respect and Engagement, are at the core of what it means to be a 'Glenview Kid' at our school.

At Glenview we expect every child to learn and we believe it is our job to cause learning in a safe and happy environment.

Foundation skills in literacy and numeracy have a key place in our learning programmes and are supported by a broad curriculum that covers all other disciplines.

We strongly believe in a partnership with our parents and caregivers, and encourage parent involvement with the many activities children experience whilst at Glenview School. We have an open door policy and staff are freely available to meet with parents and caregivers.

We have a very committed PTA who have served the school well with fundraising activities to make sure the children of Glenview School have access to a wide range of technologies and experiences.

If you would like to know more about Glenview School please do not hesitate to contact us or visit the school.
